Restaurant Design

This space is the Morchella Hotel and Morel Restaurant, a proposal for a Lettuce Entertain You hotel and restaurant in Manhattan, Kansas, with potential for franchising to other college towns. Designed together as a group, our roles were to product a space to welcome in a new generation of restaurant design.
My role: first floor layout, logo design, and material/finishes.

The concept looks at the form of a mushroom as a representation for growth. This growth mirrors that of Manhattan, a growing and changing population largely made up of young adults. To depict this idea of growth, the space incorporates familiar feelings, natural elements, and an alluring ambiance.
